  • In Gallo-Roman religion, Fagus was a god known from four inscriptions found in the Hautes-Pyrenees. The language of this Aquitanian region has been linked to Proto-Basque, rather than to Celtic. Fagus is Latin for beech.

The front wheels of this wooden jeep may be turned by the wooden bar at the jeep's top. A great vehicle for small hands. With three removable peg figures in assorted colors and a removable gas canister (it's best to be prepared!).The wonderful wooden cars, trucks and accessories by Fagus are made of beech wood (the Latin word fagus=beech) in a workshop in Germany. The toys, made without nails, screws and staples, are interlocked, doweled and glued together by hand and are made to last. All toys have a high educational value and many of the Fagus vehicles have won the ""Spiel Gut"" good toy design, awarded to toys of great educational and play value. The toys have been designed to encourage independent play and spark imaginations whilst meeting the high safety standards demanded from German toy makers.

Introduced in 2010. The arm of this mobile crane swivels and extends to a length of 32.7 inches: it may be adjusted to a number of heights and angles. The double hook can hold the lifting fork or load magnet (each sold separately) or hook onto other objects to lift and load your cargo. Two supports swing from the side of the wooden truck to add stability when the crane is in use--just like a real construction crane!
